Unlike many graduate school admissions exams, there are no
nationally scheduled test dates for the MAT. To register for the
MAT, you must apply directly to one of the licensed Controlled
Testing Centers (CTCs) located in the United States, Canada, or
overseas. Each CTC has its own testing schedule, application
process and fees. Fees include one personal score report and up
to three official score reports that will be sent to the schools
you specify on the MAT.
To take the MAT at one of the CTCs in the United States,
Canada, or overseas, call a center near you. For a listing of CTC
phone numbers and locations, visit
MillerAnalogies.com or call 1-800-622-3231 to request a copy
of the MAT booklet.
If you live more than 100 miles from a CTC, you may request to
take the MAT at an alternative testing site by writing to The
Psychological Corporation at:
The Psychological
Corporation
Miller Analogies Test
Customer Relations
19500 Bulverde Road
San Antonio, Texas 78259
You will have to pay a $ 75 fee for this option.
After taking the MAT, you are given a Retest Admission Ticket.
In order to retake the exam, you must reapply with a CTC and
present this ticket as well as inform the center if you have
taken the test within the previous 12 months. Failure to follow
this procedure can result in your retest being voided.
