ACT Test Dates and Deadlines

Although the exam is administered several times a year, most high school students take the ACT in the spring of their junior year and/or the fall of their senior year. Registration deadlines tend to fall approximately five weeks before each test date.  Upcoming dates, plus registration deadlines, are listed below:

ACT Registration Fees

  • Test Fee: $29.00, includes having your scores sent to 4 colleges
  • Test Fee (with the Writing Test): $43.00, includes having your scores sent to 4 colleges
  • Writing Test Fee: $14.00
  • Late Fee: $19
